The IEOCC’s goals are met through small focused teams called Workgroups.

Each Workgroup has specific measurable goals in its area of focus. To each group, the coalition provides quality improvement coaching, project management support, connection to other coalitions, and best-practices resources.

NCREASED USE OF MEDICATION-ASSISTED ADDICTION TREATMENT, AS PART OF A COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM OF INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL. BOOST AVAILABILITY AND USE OF THE OVERDOSE REVERSAL DRUG NALOXONE. DEVELOP A BROAD PUBLIC HEALTH OUTERACH AND COMMUNICATION ON OPIOID USE DISORDER.

Methamphetamine

INITIAL FOCUS IS TO FIND OUT WHAT CLINICAL INTERVENTIONS WORK TO HELP TREAT METHAMPHETAMINE ADDICTION AND IDENTIFY STRATEGIES. METH USE CO-OCCURS WITH A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF OPIOID OVERDOSES.
